Details of SSC CHSL Exams:
- Frequency in conduction of Exams : Once an year
- Level of Exam : Competitive Level
- Span of Exam : Across the Country
- Mode of Exam : CBT or Computer Based Test which will be conducted through Online mode or Offline mode.
- Exam Score Validity : For an year.
- Stages of Conduction of Exams : 3 Stages which will be termed as Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3.
The Tier-1 Exams will be conducted through Online mode which will be Computer Based Test, the second stage i.e Tier-2 will be descriptive part of the exam and the last stage of Exam i.e., Tier-3 will be based on the aspirant’s skills for the respective posts.
The Candidates who crossed Tier-1 Exam must attend Tier-2 Exam and who crosses Tier-2 must attend Tier-3 Exam and so on until these 3 stages were completed.
CHSL Tier-1 EXAM Pattern :
- English Language – 25 Maximum Marks – 50
- Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Maximum Marks – 50
- Reasoning Ability – 25 Maximum Marks – 50
- General Awareness – 25 Maximum Marks – 50
- Total – 100 MCQ’S (Multiple Choice Questions)
- Total Marks – 200 Marks
- Duration for the Exam – 60 minutes (1 Hour)
- Negative Marking – 0.50
CHSL Tier-2 EXAM Pattern :
- Letter / Application – 1 Maximum Marks -50
- Essay Writing -1 Maximum Marks – 50
- Duration for the Exam – 120 Minutes (2 Hours)
CHSL Tier-3 EXAM Pattern :
- There will be of Typing or Skills Test.
- Maximum Marks – 100
- Duration for the Exam – 60 Minutes (1 Hour)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SSC CHSL Exams:
The Candidate who is attending the SSC CHSL Exams needs to be between the age of 18-27 Years up to 1st January 2017. The Candidate needs to have any Degree under the government related Universities or Institutions or its equivalent.
EXAM CUTOFF FOR SSC 2017 CHSL:
There will not be any Sectional Cutoff in the SSC CHSL Exams and this cutoff may differ from year to year based on various criteria like the candidates appear for the Exam and many criteria. There will not be separate Cutoff for every section which is there in the entire recruitment process. Instead, there will be the cutoff for the entire exam. The exam conducting body will release SSC CHSL cut off score of each stage at the time announcement of results.
SSC CHSL Admit Card 2017:
The SSC Board will be going to release the SSC CHSL 2017 admit card for any exam i.e Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3 examination at least two weeks before the exam. SSC CHSL Tier 2 Results 2017: Staff Selection Commission Board or SSC Board will be going to release the SSC CHSL results in 2017 of Tier-2 Exam which was conducted in the month of June 2017. The Commission will announce the results in order to select the candidates into the various government organizations, departments, ministries and other. The Board of SSC had declared the CHSL Tier-1 Exam results then after conduction of Tier-2 Exam, then CHSL Tier-2 Exam results will be released, then CHSL Tier-3 Exam results and after that, there will be skill test round and after that, the SSC will release its final results.
