SSC CGL 2017 : The abbreviation for SSC CGL is Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level. Details of SSC CGL Exams:
- Frequency in conduction of Exams: Once an year
- Level of Exam: Competitive Level
- Span of Exam: Across the Country
- Mode of Exam: CBT or Computer Based Test which will be conducted through Online mode or Offline mode.
- Exam Score Validity: For an year.
- Stages of Conduction of Exams: 4 Stages which will be termed as Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3, and Tier-4.
The Tier-1 and Tier-2 Exams will be conducted through Online mode which will be Computer Based Test, the third stage i.e Tier-3 will be descriptive part of the exam and last stage of Exam i.e., Tier-4 will be based on the aspirant’s skills for the respective posts.
The Candidates who crossed Tier-1 Exam must attend Tier-2 Exam and who crosses Tier-2 must attend Tier-3 Exam and so on until 4 stages were completed.
CGL Tier-1 EXAM Pattern:
- English Language – 25 Maximum Marks – 50
- Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Maximum Marks – 50
- Reasoning Ability – 25 Maximum Marks – 50
- General Awareness – 25 Maximum Marks – 50
- Total Questions – 100 MCQ’S (Multiple Choice Questions)
- Total Marks – 200 Marks
- Duration for the Exam – 60 minutes (1 Hour)
CGL Tier-2 EXAM Pattern:
- Quantitative Aptitude – 100 Maximum Marks – 200 Duration for the Exam – 2 Hours
- General English – 200 Maximum Marks – 200 Duration for the Exam – 2 Hours
CGL Tier-3 EXAM Pattern:
- It will be of Descriptive Paper in English and Hindi.
- Maximum Marks – 100
- Duration for the Exam – 60 Minutes (1 Hour)
CGL Tier-4 EXAM Pattern:
Computer Proficiency Test ( CPT ) for the post of Assistant Section Officer in CSS & MEA only in MS Office like Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Duration for the Exam – 1 Hour
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SSC CGL Exams:
The Candidate who is attending the SSC CHSL Exams needs to be between the age of 18-31 Years to 1st August 2017. The Candidate needs to have any Degree under the government related Universities or Institutions or its equivalent.
EXAM CUTOFF FOR SSC 2017 CGL:
There will be Sectional Cutoff in the SSC CGL Exams and this cutoff may differ from year to year based on various criteria like the candidates appear for the Exam and many criteria. There will be separate Cutoff for every section which is there in the entire recruitment process. The exam conducting body will release SSC CGL cut off score of each stage at the time announcement of results.
SSC CGL Admit Card 2017:
The SSC Board will be going to release the SSC CGL 2017 admit card for any exam i.e Tier-1, Tier-2, Tier-3 and Tier-4 examination at least two weeks before the exam. SSC CGL Results 2017: Staff Selection Commission Board or SSC Board will be going to release the SSC CGL results 2017 of Tier-1 Exam which was conducted in the month of August 2017. The Commission will announce the results in order to select the candidates into the various government organizations, departments, ministries and other. The Board of SSC firstly declares the CGL Tier-1 Exam results then after conduction of Tier-2 Exam, then CGL Tier-2 Exam results will be released, then CGL Tier-3 Exam results and after that there will be skill test round and after that, the SSC will release its final results.
